MetaArchive NDIIPP Project Proposal (extension, 2007):
Contract describing the activites that the Cooperative is undertaking in its work with the Library of Congress through the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program between 2007 and 2010.
Extension Harvest Plan:
Charts the network development and harvest plans for the overall MetaArchive network, including building on the Southern Digital Culture archive and founding two new archives.
Outreach Program Implementation Plan:
Describes the plan for the MetaArchive Cooperative’s outreach and community building activities for the extension phase of our NDIIPP work.
Market Analysis:
This market analysis concentrates on the Cooperative's primary markets: University libraries and archives.
Network Test 02-08:
Records the findings of the first of three network tests that the MetaArchive Cooperative will perform during the extension phase of its contract work with the Library of Congress (Sept. 2007 – May 2009).
Data and Node Recovery:
Provides an in-depth guide to LOCKSS data and node recovery activities that may need to be undertaken by Private LOCKSS Networks in case of node failures.

2004-2007
MetaArchive NDIIPP Project Proposal (original, 2004):
MetaArchive contract with the Library of Congress for our initial investigation of a cooperative model of peer institutions partnering for digital preservation purposes.
Scope Document:
Provides a brief overview of the project scope, which was shaped by a discussion of what constitutes Southern culture and history, formats and materiaal types for inclusion, and a discussion of what is meant by “at risk.”
Conspectus Database:
Browse the directory of metadata associated with the collections currently stored within the MetaArchive networks.
Conspectus Schema:
This document charts and defines in detail the thirty-five categories of metadata collected for each record within the MetaArchive collection-level conspectus metadata specification.
Harvest Plan:
This document describes the plan for conducting the initial and subsequent harvesting activities of the MetaArchive of Southern Digital Culture Project.
Network Deployment Plan:
This document describes the plan for deploying the Preservation Network of the MetaArchive of Southern Digital Culture Project.
Network Assessment Plan:
This document describes the plan for assessing the Preservation Network of the MetaArchive of Southern Digital Culture Project.
Subsequent Harvest Plan:
Describes subsequent plans for harvesting collections into the MetaArchive of Southern Digital Culture Preservation Network.
Cooperative Agreement Analysis Plan:
This document describes the plan for preparatory analysis that will inform the development of the Cooperative Agreement and associated model for the MetaArchive of Southern Digital Culture Project.
Sustainability Working Group Interim Report:
This document is an interim report presented to the MetaArchive Steering Committee by a working group on sustainability chartered as part of the Cooperative Agreement Analysis Plan of August 15, 2005.
Cooperative Charter:
Provides the mission, goals, and organizing principles of the MetaArchive Cooperative; outlines our membership levels; and details the roles and responsibilities in this collaborative paradigm.
Membership Agreement:
Defines the terms of the agreement made between members of the MetaArchive Cooperative, providing a framework for these relationships while remaining sufficiently flexible to address evolving needs of the Cooperative.
